“Because I said so!” How often do we wish that our words had power in and of themselves? Sadly, our words are often ignored, and in a way, they return to us void. Not so with God. His word is powerful and effective. It never returns to Him without accomplishing what it was sent out to do. Because of this, we can trust all of God’s promises. And this is the kind of good news that brings us everlasting joy. So, even when life feels empty, God’s word still returns full!
