“What The Bible Didn’t Say: God Helps Those Who Help Themselves” (Luke 18:9-14)
“If it is to be, it’s up to me!” Have you ever thought that? It’s easy to believe that if we want God’s blessing, we must do our part. This is common to what we encounter in the world. We might even think this is to be found in God’s word. However, with God, things are different. He doesn’t reward, He rescues! This is what He is doing through His son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who through the cross rescues us out of our sin and into his mercy. So, let’s worship Our Savior!
